WTF: A Princely Scum

> # We Talk Friday >(WTF) This is a semi-regular series that I will run on Fridays to hold discussions on a current topic from the week gone. The aim is to keep them light and conversational, though some might be heavier - regardless of the content topic itself though, just have some fun engaging and discussing with whoever happens to put in the effort in the comments section below. --- ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/tarazkp/23zH1dcJrdLoz1DVffN5oUtpqW9w5gjqKCmqixyhkjP2E4yL8y5Kghr9PzVDn4Nrhxuwo.png) --- # We Talk Friday Ep. 29: A Princely Scum I don't know who in the world has been following the saga that is the life of the man formerly known as Prince Andrew, and will now instead be known only as *Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,* but I think it is safe to say, he is disgusting. As is his entire family for letting this drag out and not condemning him to prison. Sure, he says he has "done nothing wrong" but there should be a trial right? Oh, he paid off *one* of the people who happened to have a picture with him and Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's partner in crime, so no trial. > Should that be possible for crimes of this nature? I have never been a monarchist, as I think that they are disgusting people all in all. Entitled, inbred, and manipulative, people forget that underneath the jewels, gold embroidered cloth and eloquence, lay the most ruthless family that was able to hold power in the region. I think that in this day and age, we should be well and truly past having royal families that have any political sway at all. It is a bit unfair on poor ex-Prince Andy though, because for several years now he has been dragged through the global media having *some* of his dirty laundry aired, when there are likely *hundreds of other* people who are just as famous (if not more so), who should also be outed, sentenced, and have their lives of luxury and entitlement, stripped away. Politicians, celebrities, people of industry. > There should be a Rick and Morty-esque Day of Purge. And once proven, everything they own should go into a fund to improve the wellbeing of everyone else. They talk about "taxing the rich" but it wouldn't be necessary if all those sick-fuck assholes were uncovered and openly tried. Diddy was a billionaire at one point and is still worth about 400 million. Strip it. And all those other celebrity people complicit in the freak-offs - strip them too. But apparently, all those celebrities "didn't stay" for the real festivities. > Bullshit. We are living in an increasingly sick world, where people believe they are entitled to have their increasingly twisted desires fulfilled. And it isn't just the people of power like it used to be, nor is it behind closed doors like it used to be - it is increasingly brazen. And in a world where everyone carries recording devices on them at all times and want to remember their own depravity and that of others, there are records being kept. Like trophies saved by serial killers of their victims. > This goes beyond fantasy and kink. The illicit nature of what people want to do is because it adds to the experience by making it a scarce resource. And because the people of power can buy what they want, they want to have experiences that are only available to them, or a small group of people. They want exclusive experience, to feed their oversized egos. And the more they get caught, the more *normal* their behaviours become, and the more average people will shift in their preferences too. > Another one of those "race to the bottom" situations. And another one of the many reasons I think society is crumbling.
