Por fin llegó 🎃 Halloween 🎃 estoy ansiosa por leer sus experiencias.
Este año no voy a poder disfrutarlo como años atrás en Cuba no se celebra, sé prohibió 😔 pero siempre inventamos algo para disfrazarnos al menos. Pero este año, entre la situación energética y que ya no estoy en mi antiguo trabajo de animadora infantil, pues al no ser que pase algo inesperado, me toca trabajar y no precisamente en una noche de terror. Esta noche, se baila Samba. 🤷🏻♀️
Finally arrived 🎃 Halloween 🎃 I'm anxious to read your experiences. This year I won't be able to enjoy it as years ago in Cuba it's not celebrated, I know it was forbidden 😔 but we always invent something to dress up at least. But this year, between the energy situation and that I am no longer in my old job as a children's entertainer, unless something unexpected happens, I have to work and not exactly on a night of terror. Tonight, it's Samba. 🤷🏻♀️

No soy de México pero me gusta mucho su cultura y tradiciones. Hasta su comida, con el picante ese que asusta tanto jjjjj ojalá algún día pueda visitarlo. En Cuba es mucha la música mexicana que se escucha y uno de mis bailes preferidos es el zapateo mexicano.
La Catrina es un personaje que siempre ha llamado mi atención así que busqué un poco de su historia antes de hacer este post. Fue creado por el pintor, ilustrador y caricaturista José Guadalupe Posada, es la figura que más se asocia al Día de Muertos y a la muerte en general, siendo uno de los iconos con los que es conocido México en el mundo entero. Si conocen alguna otra curiosidad sobre este personaje me encantaría leerlo
I am not from Mexico but I really like their culture and traditions. Even their food, with the spicy food that scares me so much jjjjjj I hope someday I can visit it. In Cuba there is a lot of Mexican music and one of my favorite dances is the Mexican zapateo.
La Catrina is a character that has always caught my attention so I looked up a bit of her history before making this post. It was created by the painter, illustrator and cartoonist José Guadalupe Posada, is the figure that is most associated with the Day of the Dead and death in general, being one of the icons with which Mexico is known worldwide. If you know any other curiosity about this character, I would love to read it.

Paso 1/ Step 1
Con esponjita para difuminar y color blanco cubrimos toda la cara menos los ojos.
With a blending sponge and white color we cover the entire face except the eyes.

Paso 2/Step 2
Si ya se que parezco un Dálmata jjjj le iremos dando forma Color negro y en forma de círculo cubrimos los ojos.

Paso 3/Step 3
La nariz, para hacerla lo primero que hice fue, con un pincel fino y colo negro, dibujar dos rayas paralelas una más larga que otra. Luego las uní por encima dándole forma de u y por último pinté toda la parte de abajo de la nariz.
To make the nose, the first thing I did was, with a fine brush and black color, draw two parallel stripes, one longer than the other. Then I joined them on top giving it a u-shape and finally I painted the whole bottom of the nose.

Paso 4/Step 4
Aprovechando el pincel que ya estaba negro y desde las comisuras de los labios pinté dos rayas hacia arriba, más tarde terminaremos la boca.
Taking advantage of the brush that was already black and from the corners of the lips I painted two lines upwards, later we will finish the mouth.

Paso 5/Step 5
En la frente en el mismo medio pinté como una gotita al revés. Y a partir de hay fui dibujando en espejo. Aquí depende del gusto de cada cual.
On the forehead in the same middle I painted a little drop upside down. And from there I started drawing in mirror. Here it depends on the taste of each one.
Yo me hice este dibujo y que por cierto me lo tuve que rectificar varias veces porque no me daba cuenta y me lo llevaba.

Paso 6/Step 6
Con color rojo pinté mis labios tal cual son. Y con ese mismo color dibujé con mucho cuidado el borde de los ojos dándole esa forma de pequeños pétalos redondos
With red color I painted my lips as they are. And with the same color I carefully drew the rim of the eyes giving it the shape of small round petals.

Paso 7/ Step 7
Volvemos al color negro y con un pincel fino vamos haciendo pequeñas rayas por encima de los labios cuidando que queden a distancias similares y por encima de las rayas que salen de las comisuras.
We go back to the black color and with a fine brush we make small stripes above the lips taking care that they are at similar distances and above the stripes that come out of the corners of the mouth.

Dibujamos en la barbilla tres gotitas más como se ve en la foto y listo.
Draw three more drops on the chin as shown in the picture and that's it.

Ahora solo queda peinarnos, yo me hice dos trenzas, pasé una a cada lado por encima de la cabeza. Es un peinados que usamos mucho en ballet. Luego coloqué las flores que encontré 😅 tratando que se vieran bonitas y parejas. También encontré unos aretes y un collar, que eran de mi abuelita. A ella le encantaba maquillarse y usar prendas grandes. Ella era muy linda. Bueno, con todos estos accesorios pues, ahora si lista para las fotos.
Now we just have to do our hair, I did two braids, I put one on each side over the head. It is a hairstyle that we use a lot in ballet. Then I placed the flowers I found 😅 trying to make them look nice and even. I also found some earrings and a necklace, which were my abuelita's. She loved to wear makeup and big clothes. She was very pretty. Well, with all these accessories, now I'm ready for the pictures.
