Hi guys! How are you all? Alhamdulillah, I’m doing very well. Today I’ve come to share another recipe with you all. Today I’ll share a very tasty naru (sweet ball) recipe with you. Children especially love sweet foods. So come on, let’s share the recipe together! 🍬✨

Ingredients (White sesame sweet ball ):
1.White sesame seeds – 1 cup 2.Jaggery (gur) or sugar – ¾ cup 3.Water – 2–3 tablespoons (for melting jaggery or sugar) 4.Grated coconut – ½ cup (optional but adds great flavor) 5.Ghee (clarified butter) – 1 tablespoon 6.Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon (for fragrance).
Making process :
( white sesame sweet ball) Roast the sesame seeds: Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the white sesame seeds until they turn light golden and give a nice aroma. Be careful not to burn them. Then take them out and set aside. Prepare the jaggery syrup: In the same pan, add jaggery and 2–3 tablespoons of water. Cook on low heat until the jaggery melts completely and becomes slightly sticky. (You can check by dropping a bit in water — if it forms a soft ball, it’s ready.) Add other ingredients: Add the roasted sesame seeds, grated coconut (if using), cardamom powder, and ghee into the jaggery syrup. Mix everything quickly and well. Shape the balls: When the mixture is still warm (not hot), take a small portion in your hand and roll it into small round balls (narus). Cool and store: Let them cool completely. Once cooled, store the white sesame sweet balls in an airtight container.
Ingredients (Almond sweet ball)
1.Almonds – 1 cup (roasted and finely crushed or powdered) 2.Sugar – ½ cup (you can adjust as per taste) 3.Ghee (clarified butter) – 2 tablespoons 4.Milk – 2–3 tablespoons (to help bind the mixture) 5.Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon (for fragrance) 6.Grated coconut – ¼ cup (optional, for extra taste and texture) 7.Chopped dry fruits (like cashew or raisin) – optional, for garnish.
Making process:
(Almond sweet ball)
Roast the almonds: Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the almonds for 3–4 minutes until they release a light aroma. Let them cool completely. Grind the almonds: Once cooled, grind the roasted almonds into a fine or slightly coarse powder (as you prefer). Prepare the mixture: In a pan, heat ghee on low flame. Add the almond powder and roast it for 2–3 minutes while stirring continuously. Add sugar and milk: Add sugar and a few tablespoons of milk to the mixture. Mix well. The milk will help bind everything together and give a soft texture. Add flavor: Sprinkle in the cardamom powder and, if you like, some grated coconut or chopped dry fruits. Mix everything well. Shape the sweet balls: Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. When it’s warm (not hot), take small portions and roll them into round balls with your hands. Cool and serve: Let the almond sweet balls cool completely. Once set, store them in an airtight container. Your Almond Sweet Balls (Badam er Naru) are ready — soft, fragrant, and delicious! 🩷🍬
