A foggy morning on Popes Island
Good Morning, I hope all is well with you
Recently we had a few foggy mornings, now I know some find foggy mornings eerie or perhaps scary, but i find them quiet surreal and sometimes almost magical or mystical and I find them calming.
Now sure I do love when I get out for a morning walk and catch a colorful and beautiful sunrise, but unless its raining I get out whatever the conditions are like most mornings for my early walks
This morning when I took this walk and photos it was both foggy but very humid, initially my glasses and camera lens kept fogging up, but i still got a nice walk in on Popes Island
Popes island is a smallish island between New Bedford and Fairhaven, but not to small I guess it has a couple of marinas and docks for commercial fishing boats along with a a few shops
this first shot is by one of the marinas, I thought the foggy feel in this would work well in Black and White, but it needed a bit more so I kept a splash of color

This next shot was as I was walking out and over the swing truss bridge, as I took the long exposure a car drove by and that resulted in the red light trail

I do love taking photos of the swing truss bridge so here is another one with it fading away into the fog
