Mattapoisett Rail trail
Good Morning and have a good day, today I will share a few more shots from a walk on took on the Mattapoisett rail trail a little while back, I have been meaning to make it back there but havent as yet, I had planned to go there this morning ( as I prepare this) but as I headed out from home I realised it was a very foggy morning and decided to go somewhere else, maybe tomorrow I will make it there
Mattapoisett Rail Trail runs west to east for approximately 2 miles with paved sections through woodlands and elevated bridges over sensitive coastal marshes and beach. It connects directly to Fairhaven’s Pheonix Trail’s 4.5 miles so you can bike, walk, or jog for over six miles on this flat, easy path.
This day I think I did most of the Mattapoisett portion of the trail, but didnt make into onto the Phoenix trail.
Now most tyimes if all the photos are from one walk, I share them in the order I took them, but the first shot I will share is actually the last one in this series but my favorite so I will share in reverse order from the order i took them today
This is actually off the trail walkway and down on the beach, which I gues sis pretty obvious LOL
On one side is the beach as per the first shot and ont he other this green area with a stream running through it
This next shot to me sort of looks like it was taken with a drone, but no I have not bought a drone and after thinking about it a lot have decided I probably never will, sure they are cool, but I am more than happy enough with taking shots with my camera
THis is one the trail, looking back in a spot where it curves around

one part of the trail thee is this fence, and its there as off tot he left is a golf course, and to protect the walkers on the trail from any gold balls that go a bit to far
