Mono Monday with a nautical theme

Good Morning, another work week begins and may it be a good one for you, going to be a quite week for me taking it east and eating light today to make sure touch wood, that I am feeling good when I go for my small surgery tomorrow to get the Catheter that was accidently left in my arm taken out, after that will eat more pureed food and hopefully my stomach will be fine and my energy levels will build up and I can get out for photo walks again

Keeping with my habit of sharing mono shots on a Monday and this week I am going with a nautical theme

Starting with this shot taken on the bridge that goes from Popes Island to Fairhaven, looking over some of the boats in the marina in the Fairhaven side

Went with a more golden sepia sort of shade for this one, i keep going back and forth in my mind over what I think of that shade

This next one is at the Port of New Bedford love the star effect I got with the lights on these boats

NOw i say boats but i often wonder what makes the difference between a boat and a ship

The distinction between a boat and a ship is not always clear-cut and depends on context, with several factors often used to differentiate them.

Size is one of the most commonly cited differences, with ships generally being larger than boats. While there is no universally agreed-upon size threshold, some sources suggest a vessel weighing at least 500 tonnes or over 100 feet (approximately 30 meters) in length is typically classified as a ship

and at the port again with a more traditional sepia toning

And another one that I guess I liked when I edited it, but not sure what I think of the shading in this one myself today

NOw this one i had exported for this post and as I started to prepare this post I thought why did I include it its not exactly a nautical theme, then I guess my brain engaged of course its a lighthouse which were to guide ships so of course it is nautical

and to finish off back at the port and a bit of light paining, and perhaps as close to a selfie you will get from me these days :)
