Sublime and Beautiful Sunday animals at the zoo
This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
For this weeks post I am at the Buttonwood Park zoo again, of recent it seems the only place I have headed to if I get out for a photo walk during the day. But even though I wish the space for the animals was a bit larger its still a very nice little zoo the staff seem great and care very much for the well being of the animals
I have an annual membership for the zoo so I try and make the most of it and visit it now and again, I was there the other day, it was a nice day and the place was quite busy with parents taking there young kids and seeing the kids loving there time there was great, but not so great for photos, I am very careful not to take any photos with the children in them, not wanting to be called a dirty old man. I did get some nice shots of the deer i think but I havent had a chance to look at those yet, so sharing some shots from a previous visit
Starting with a white tail deer

Emily the Asian elephant at Buttonwood Park Zoo is 60 years old. She has been at the zoo for 56 years, having arrived in 1968. She is considered geriatric and has spent 55 of her 60 years at the zoo She used to have company with another elephant Ruth, but she passed a year or so ago and maybe its just me but she does seem so lonely these days
Next up an Otter, there such fun to watch, the kids there the other day were having such fun watching them
