Wednesday Walk An early morning walk at the port
This post if for Wednesday walk challenge Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)
Good Morning and have a great Day, its Hump day also known as Wednesday and hence I am sharing a Wednesday Walk post.
Its hot here today yesterday we wnt over 100F, aand still this morning it was hot, I went out for a walk at about 4:15 AM, thinking it would be coolish, but I ended up cutting my walk short, I ws sweating so much and finished the three bottlesd of water I took with me, so only got a little over haldf of my usual step goal in, and its too hot in our sunroom to get the rest in today, I think this is the firts day in 6 months I most likely will not do over 10K steps, well second day the other one ws aa day I had a medical procedure done.
Today I am sharing a walk around the port early one morning
It was a rather dull morning with a little bit of fog, so not ideal for photos for the most part, but was good for getting plenty of steps in between taking photos. I have noticed that with eating better and trying to make sure I get over 10K steps in each day has been good for loosing weight, I am now down over 40lbs from what I was at peak, but I have also noticed with having lost weight I am buring less calories when out walking, when I started I tried to make sure even with stopping for photos I was gettign over 1100 steps in every ten minutes and in that time I would burn about 55 to 60 calories, but now for the same time and number of steps I am only burning 40 to 45 calories, so to get the 500 calories burnt from exercise I try to do each morning before breakfast, I am having to walk more, but I Guess thats all a good thing.
Now onto the walk, this firts shot gives a good feel of how moody it was that morning looking across the water to Popes Island and Fairhaven

And this shot was probably the firts photo I took that morning, its just around from where i park my car and I always stop there for a shot as I start my walk,

Early morning and not much light lead to long exposures and catching cool reflections of the boats

As it gets a bit lighter the exposures are shorter and the reflections get a little murky

And this is near the end of my walk, my car is parked just behind the clam bar

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
