I posted '24 Lion last week, so the next is 2025 version of course.
The coin received a new relief in 2025 again, however, the main idea remained the same. The reverse side is dominated by the Czech lion in realistic rendition with the St. Wenceslas crown on its head. An additional motif is the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. The another element si czech flag.
As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, their obverse side bears its necessary attributes – the portrait of the King Charles III., the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2024.
Minulý týden jsem postoval loňského lva, další v pořadí je samozřejmě ten letošní, tedy ročník 2025. Mince opět dostala nový reliéf, ale ve stejném duchu, jako jsou předchozí edice. Reversu dominuje realistický Český lev se Svatováclavskou korunou na hlavě. Doplňkovým motivem je orlice, odkazující na orlici svatováclavskou, moravskou a slezskou. Dalším prvkem je česká vlajka. Protože je mince ražena v licenci, averz obsahuje portrét Karla III., nominální hodnotu 2 NZD a rok vydání 2024.
