Over the past few months, ive been brainstorming on what kind of art I would like to be creating going forward. Yes, my art works can be known from my style, but i felt that’s not enough as I wanted a niche incase i wanted to design for merchs. The masks of west african cultures have been captivating me for a long time and they represent my culture and myself. I thought about making drawings and paintings that shows people but with different the masks and masquerades. These will be my masterpieces and I will still be making comissions of people separately. I will also be making them very colorful and vibrant to show the african culture. I made this sample drawing today using ink and shared the process below. I hope you love it.
