It's been a while since I posted a fan art in this community. In the past, I made the fan art I shared traditionally. However, these days, I'm trying to challenge myself with digital drawing using my smartphone.
It's apparent that I'm a noob at this, so please be kind. hahah I did my best, though... and enjoyed the process. :)
I was scrolling through Holozing posts to check the characters, and I decided on Forest Healer from this post.
My version is an elf with shorter hair. The hair color reminded me of Billie Eilish. hahaha
Since I don't know much about digital drawing, I'm mostly doing trial and error, so my process is all over the place. Instead, I took some screenshots, layer after layer.
I started with the line art, but I'm only going to use it as a guide...
I did the base color... but it's so funny, because I forgot that the hair should be green... but I was imagining a tree... I was too lazy and decided just to cover it later on.

Yep... I just covered it with green and yellow-green for the fringe. :)
I then did more detailing. When I checked the available brushes, I found a nature feature, so I watched an ad to be able to use it. I used the brush with the clovers and made a choker. There's actually a blue bird after a couple of clovers, but I erased them and arranged the clovers this way... :)
I removed the line art, and it looked like this. I wanted to avoid using line art for a more realistic feel, but I'm unsure how to enhance this... Maybe next time, I'll explore more when I have more time. I'm also very lazy when it comes to watching tutorials, so yeah.. there's that. XD
I ended up drawing over a more flowy line art... And I think it's passable. hahaha
Finally, I watched another ad to unlock some nature-themed background. I'll try creating my own backgrounds next time after improving more. hahaha
I also added my signature... and that's it! XD
It's not the best, but it's much better than my previous digital drawings. I hope to get a drawing tablet someday... hahaha But for now, my smartphone will do. :)
