My father who was stranded in his hometown to meet his brother and family finally went home. He hasn't seen his brother for a long time and when he was invited to go back to their hometown, we just let him be despite the fact that there's going to be a typhoon.
I already got the feeling that he's going to be stranded, but I decided not to react since he hasn't been with his family for quite a long time. Although mama and I were also invited, we refused because we have to take care of Max and Arashi. In addition, my mom don't feel well when traveling. It's also the holidays, so it's going to be quite busy.
He intended to go back on the third, but all ships going to Cebu were already cancelled because of the storm. Yeah. my intuition was right. He was indeed stranded as I expected. XD I didn't mind though, because the usual flooding in my area isn't that bad even during the previous super typhoon, and all the trees that could have been a problem were already uprooted. But my expectations were totally off... I mean, everyone in our area's expectations were.
Anyway, it's two days after the typhoon and finally, he came home after getting stranded. My grandma, cousins and other relatives sent us some stuff, especially clothes to wear. It's the thing he needed the most, aside from food.

He went there with just a small sling bag containing a couple clothes to wear, but he came home with this enormous bag full of clothes. He also brought some food from my grandma's place since it was also their hometown's festival on the fifth.
Anyway... let me get back to how my day went starting from this morning...
I couldn't sleep well last night. We didnt have any electricity upstairs, and it was so hot and uncomfortable. I haven't really slept well since that day, and I don't know why because each day has been truly exhausting.
I guess I could sleep a bit around 3AM, but got woken up by Arashi... hahaha Then, at 4AM, my sleep was on and off. It felt like ive slept for a long time, yet it was only 10 minutes... you can liken it to a power nap.
Then at 5AM, I decided to just get up. I went to the balcony to see the sunrise. The room where we're staying at is on the second floor of a house which is under renovation. The balcony is quite huge, so I'm planning to do some painting there when it isn't too hot someday.
Around 5:30, I decided to go down to alternately charge my and my Mama's phone. The electricity is back downstairs, but there was a problem with the wiring upstairs, so we didnt have any electricity yet.
Then, I went out to see Max who's staying in the empty parking space by the gate and took him for a walk. He happily ran around a bit and did his business... afterwards, I cleaned the parking area since it's full of his fur. He still hasn't taken a bath because there's no water available yet. Once he's cleaned up, we could make him enjoy going around inside the place to get familiar with it. While having breakfast, my mom and I were busy replying messages from my father and my cousins and aunts. My favorite people (Two of my mom's younger sisters and my cousins Nicole and Godwyn) were coming over to visit us and help us in some way.
It's amazing how they all arrived at almost the same time this morning despite coming from a variety of places.

They brought some clothes, and they also bought some groceries. We were able to get permission to use the kitchen downstairs, including the fridge, so it's really useful to store food... and it also helps since cooking saves money. They also brought us new slippers we could use inside and outside the house.

My cousin Nicole also brought my mom this cute thermos we could use for some tea.
The guy in charge with the renovation who's also living in a room downstairs fixed the electricity problem on the second floor. Because of this, my aunts bought us this cute yet powerful fan to make the room more comfortable.
Don't mind my cake painting... it's one of the paintings I could save. hahaha...
We spent time talking and they really were supportive and encouraging to us. They don't have a lot, but they're always there for us... and what they did is extra special. No wonder they're mong my favorite people.
They had to go home in the evening, though... but we're planning to get together again soon despite the changes. It doesn't matter where we are or what we do, as long as we're together.

My father got the foam from my loft bed in the afternoon when he visited our flooded house... we set it on the floor and we started segregating the clothes my relatives from my father's side of the family sent us.

These were all the contents of that huge bag I shared in the beginning... Some of them were souvenirs from Canada, and the others were a bunch of clothes from them.

These are the ones I chose. They're mostly T-shirts and a couple of shorts and pants. The second photo is from my grandma...

These are for my parents including some towels and blankets. These are really a huge help for us.

Lastly, these are stuff we're going to give to our neighbors who helped me and my mom last time. I hope these are slso helpful for them.
This day is so much better than yesterday... :) Thanks for reading and see you around!!!
