Celebrating My Little Wins: 9000 Comments Later

I’ve officially crossed 9000 comments on here and a shiny new badge popped up, congratulating me and nudging me toward the next target which is 9500 comments. At first glance, it might seem like just another digital sticker. But to me, it’s more than that. It’s proof of consistency and I think I needed it because I was beginning to doubt myself. It’s proof of showing up, of engaging, and building conversations little by little until they add up to something worth celebrating. I recently got back into engagement and it’s been fun so far connecting with new and old people so getting this notification had me kicking my feet.  I think we often underestimate the power of small actions. I used to underestimate it too so no worries. We often celebrate the big milestones, new jobs, graduations, houses, but overlook the everyday choices that shape us. Choosing to write instead of scrolling, choosing to engage instead of staying silent, choosing to add value to a conversation when it feels easier to hold back. For me, every comment I’ve made on this blockchain has been more than just words typed out. It’s been a way of connecting, encouraging and even learning. Sometimes it’s a long reflection, other times it’s just a sentence or two but trust me each one has played its part in this journey. This little badge can also serve as a reminder to you to celebrate your little wins. They might not look like much at the moment, but when they stack up, you realize how far you’ve come. 9000 comments mean 9000 moments of showing up. And honestly, that’s worth being proud of. I am proud of myself.  So here’s me making a toast to those small steps that turn into milestones. To the little choices that become habits. And here’s to the next 500 comments, because if 9000 is possible, then 9500 is just around the corner. I hope to accomplish that before this month runs out. And maybe that’s the real message I want to leave with you. Don’t wait until the “big achievement” comes before you celebrate yourself. Every step is worth honoring.
