The sun had disappeared hours ago, leaving behind a blanket of darkness that wrapped itself around the trees, the ground looking so terrifying and frightening and the small figure that lay curled up in a ball. A gust of wind picked up the leaves that had been lying dormant on the ground for quite some long time and sent them spiralling through the air violently, some of them catching on the figure and lifting it up ever so slightly. Slowly, the figure uncurled itself, revealing a face covered in dirt and dried blood.
With a groan, the figure staggered to its feet to finally get some balance it desired, using the tree for support. The last thing the figure remembered was the car coming towards them, the sound of shattering glass, and then nothing.
They must have been knocked out in the accident and somehow ended up here the figure was trying to think out. Looking around, the figure saw that they were in a dark forest. The appearance of the forest looks so frightened and should be tagged the forest of the evil for its atmosphere it possesses. Spots of moonlight shone through the gaps in the leaves overhead, casting a eerie glow over everything.
Taking a step forward, the figure winced as their foot came down on something sharp. In anticipation and anxiety to know what was that, Bending down, they saw that it was a piece of foil. Curious to know what a price of foil might be doing in this forest, Picking it up, they turned it over in their hand, wondering how it had got there. It must have been from the car they assumed.
The figure's eyes widened as they realised what this meant. If the foil was from the car, then that certainly must mean that the car was nearby around the forest. It should not better be what they are thinking they said.
Excitement coursing through their veins, and trying to follow their instinct in order to probably find the car nearby as they assumed, the figure started to stumble in the direction that the foil had come from, tripping over roots and low-hanging branches in their haste and anxiety with a touch of fear. They had to find the car by all means . It was their only hope of getting out of this place and they are not going to let that flip away from them.
After what felt like hours of walking in trying to find their way through the care, the figure finally saw a glint of metal through the trees. With a fresh fear and tension been breath to their mind, They quickened their pace, heart pounding in their chest. As they got closer, they saw that it was the car, or what was left of it. Finally it seems their perspection and assumption was quite right after all. It had crashed into a tree and was completely totaled.
The figure's heart sank. There was no way they were getting out of here now. They were completely stranded and just about to fight the decision to give up.
Exhausted, the figure sank to the ground, leaning back against the tree. They would have to wait until morning to start looking for a way out. Closing their eyes, they tried to block out the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind and the animals that were stirring in the distance.
Morning came slowly, the sun peeking through the trees and casting a warm glow over everything. The figure stirred, slowly getting to their feet. Their muscles were stiff and sore from sleeping on the ground, but they pushed on, begin to search for a way out of the forest.
They walked for hours, but there was no sign of a path or any other people. The more and farther they walk, the thinner it seems their hope of getting out becomes. It was as if they were the only ones in the world.
The days turned into weeks, and still the figure didn't give up. They were determined to find a way out. Finally, after months of searching, they found a small path that they had missed before.
Followed it, the figure eventually came to a small clearing. In the distance, they could see the rooftops of a town. They had made it.
The figure collapsed to the ground, relief washing over them. They had made it out of the forest. They were finally safe.
