We all have those days that feel never end when school, work, or life just exhaust every bit of energy from you. I’ve had numerous of them myself personally and over time I’ve found ease ways to relax and recharge after a stressful day.
As for me personally, music is number one that ease my busy day all through. The moment I plug in my earphones and play some Hip Hop, Afrobeat, or R&B, l feel relaxed immediately l starts to listen to the music with my earphones plug to my ears. Sometimes I just close my eyes and let the rhythm take control of everything.
Another thing, I also enjoy taking short walks in the evening. Breathing fresh air and feeling the cool breeze helps me clear my mind. It’s amazing how a simple walk can change your mentality and mood. If I’m staying indoors, I love watching movie ( I mean Horror Movie, l had to be specific here with the movies l watch) or l do a bit of tech research.
As a Computer Science graduate, I find learning something new and trending updates relax my brain as well. It might sound strange, but sometimes focusing on a new idea is the perfect escape from the strenuous day i went through.
Last and not the least, I make sure to spend time with family or peers when I can, crack jokes, sharing stories, or just sitting together without talking much can be very comforting.
We all have different ways of winding down, but the goal and target is the same to recharge and get ready for the next day.
