LIFE IS A DO IT YOURSELF PROJECT

I have come to realize one thing as I grow older is that life does not have duplicates, to succeed life is in hand and also to be the other way round, it's in hands as well. Nobody can make you inferior except yourself. If l remembered wella, we dey depend on parents, teachers, or even friends to show us the right road to success. But truth be say, when you grow, you will discover that the decision we took then will be the one that is going to shape our lives (future) how it will look like. Another thing again is that people can inspire you but you will be the one to motivate yourself to make things happen in life.

I outlined some things down here that we need to follow that will guide us through to be single handedly make something in life because life is do it yourself project:

1. Define Your Values

   You must be able to define your value because if you can't define your value in life, you will settle for less when you can still make something happen in life. That is why a great man says: man of value is a man of honored, by defining your value in life, you must be honest, hard work, faith or respect because that will build the foundation of your success in life.

2. Learn How to Hustle

   You must learn how to hustle, you will be poor and you starve to death because “no food for lazy men”. Whether you are a student, worker, or entrepreneur, you must learn how to put effort into your hustle. Gone are the days now, we used to depend on cyber café for the internet, buying 30 minutes time just to browse. But now, with smartphones and cheap data, nobody can stop you from learning new skills by yourself. You can’t wait for anybody to push you; you have to push yourself to make something happen because great men do not do different things but they do it in different ways.

3. Build Discipline

   Discipline matters a lots in all things, because discipline is a refining fire in which talent becomes an ability. Talent is something sweet, but without discipline you go waste am. For example, you want to save money but you dey chop all your income on weekend enjoyment, you go just dey roundabout. Success doesn’t comes that way, discipline means denying yourself from things you love doing all the time (Acts of denial)

4. Take Care of Yourself You have to take good care of your health and hygiene no be luxury; they are part of the project. Bath well, eat clean, rest when your body dey shout, and keep your mind sharp. When you dey neat and healthy, your confidence go show, and people go respect you more. These things matters a lots.

5. Share and Inspire Others Even though life is a do-it-yourself project, it doesn’t mean you should live selfishly. As you are learning and growing, share your experience with others. Teach your younger ones how to avoid mistakes you made, because life is a teacher the more you live, the more you learn. Encourage friends that are left behind and also at the bottom level.

   At the end of the day, this life na like you dey build house. You go choose the blocks, you go design the foundation, and you go decide how strong the structure go be. People fit advise you, but na your hand go hold the tools.
