For this week, I'm doing "I'm tired", one of my favorites from the Euphoria series (Rue's my favorite character..my guitar's literally named after her lol).😌 I love this song because of its relatability...life really can be that exhausting and draining.😑 Sometimes, the feeling of defeat is so intense we wish for that sense of an "escape". The thing though, is there's always something better to hope for as long as God remains (which is always)🤭.
The first verse of the song expresses Rue's helplessness and lack of will to keep fighting as she faces her addiction problems : "Hey, Lord, just cut me loose". But the second verse is always interesting to listen to. It's full of hope and something beautiful to look forward to after a painful journey: "Hey, Lord, I wanna stay Hey, Lord, you know I'm fighting Hey, Lord, you know I'll find it"
Hope, like faith and love, is a truly precious thing to have.💎
