It's week 35 and I'm finally making my very last minute entry.

Before I get into that, I wanted to say thank you to the vibes team @verbal-d, @lordbutterfly and @silentscreamer for the recognition from last week, I do not take it for granted and I'm grateful for the opportunities this community presents.🌹
Soooo..why am I just entering?
I'd been either occupied or unwell this week (I feel better now..thank God😌).
The theme didn't make it any easier as well. I'm sure a number of us were challenged by it (but hey, challenges help us grow).
In my search for a song, I'd found a couple fire new songs and some old songs I would have never thought to attempt.
"The middle" is one of such old songs. Though I knew the catchy parts well enough, I'd never really listened to it so I didn't realize how tasking it was for me until I attempted it..but hey, I did it (I think?😅).
My recording process was something for sure. I'd finally gotten to it late at night when I got some me time. After 7-8 takes (or more, who's counting?😑)..I decided it was enough and had my pick but it sounded incomplete to me and my voice was already stressed beyond having to record new layers.
Thing is I always keep my recorded takes (since I record with another device) just until I'm fully finished, so I tried something new and used what I thought to be the best fit as an extra layer after a likkle bit of engineering.
I'd say I liked the result but let me know what you think?🙃
