Good Vibes Only with Soutar's Menagerie

 ### Hello hello silver bloggers, music lovers and Hello hivers! Well we managed to fly into September and up here that means we are into Autumn already. Before we know it Christmas and then 2026 will be here! One thing I have noticed over the last wee while is that there is more and more episodes of Hive Drama being played out on and off our blockchain. In fact this had led to the inspiration for my post today .... **But in a fluffing GOOD way!**  This picture I took a couple of days ago in Tay Street along the river Tay in Perth Scotland. The three wee creatures are part of **Soutar's Menagerie** which is a public art installation in Perth, Scotland. **They now form part of the River Tay Public Art Trail.**  The inspiration, and gosh you know I love my inspiration when it comes to my #ttt posts, for the creatures depicted are inspired by animals mentioned in "Bairn Rhymes" which is a poem by local Perth poet William Soutar.  Before we continue let me tell you that the sculptures were created by Rhonda Bayley in 2004. [William Soutar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Soutar) (1898-1943) was a major Scottish poet and diarist. A crippling illness from contracting TB in 1929 left him bedridden for the last 13 years of his life, but from his room, he became a key figure in the Scottish Literary Renaissance, writing in both English and Scots.  As I mentioned at the beginning, this sculpture is called "Soutar's Menagerie" by artist Rhonda Bayley. It was unveiled in 2004 on the flood defence wall along Tay Street in Perth. The Tay is a fluff off big and long river that is prone to flooding, not to mention having some of the best salmon fishing in the world.  This sculpture commemorates Soutar's children's poems, known as "The Bairnrhymes." It features a series of playful bronze creatures, including a crow, a jackdaw, and a snail, all of which are characters from his poem "Aince Upon a Day." It's a whimsical tribute to the poet's lighter, more imaginative work.  I think they are so fluffing cure! With a bit of searching I managed to find a great pdf of some of these [poems with an English translation](https://www.williamsoutar.com/Other%20Bairnrhymes%20v1.pdf), ironically enough the English translation is for Scots Children and the Scots version for Caledonian Bairns. Isn't it funny how things turn out!  Here was a wee dialogue that I had with @ericvancewalton about a vibe of disharmony on the chain...  ### With him suggesting we start a new campaign a #GoodVibesOnly tag for positive posts ... Been years since I watched this video, I loved the milk bottles as we now get our milk delivered in the mornings twice a week. See @nancybriti1 he is a good wolf jeje! **The song was originally on the 1977 album Exodus but was released as a single in 1980.**  We finish up in this century with another banger that gets you singing along ... ### Tune 3 - Happy ~ Pharrell Williams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbZSe6N_BXs "Happy" is a song written, produced, and performed by American musician Pharrell Williams, released as the only single from the soundtrack album for the film Despicable Me 2 (2013).  ### So there you have it – three tunes that for me shout Good Vibes!!
