Hello Hello Hivians
It's Wednesday and here in Scotland the Autumn is well and truly here! I am writing this at 7am and in the summer it would have been light for hours by now, today though it is only just starting to get lighter.
So we are going back to the weekend for this walk.

### Today though we are practising what #wednesdaywalk is all about!
Look at what is around you!
### Typical Scottish Autumnal weather!
We went out on Friday morning for a walk and a bite to eat at the local street food van.
It's always a treat especially in cold weather.

### Bacon and Egg roll
I do love bacon and pair it up with some fresh air and you are onto a winner!

It's a great place to sit and watch the world go round.

### A giant playground for pups.
No matter what time of the year there are always a multitude of dogs and owners or walkers who more often that not glued to their phones...

### Seafield Beach
You can tell by the flag that is was quite windy and gusty lol! I did say it was typical Scottish Autumnal weather.
One big difference between the East and West Coast of Scotland is the weather. Here on the east it is drier and often windier than on the west.

Time to hit that beach!

Walking on the beach always means keeping an eye out for seaglass or in this case sherds of pottery. Yes I did say sherds and not shards, as strictly speaking when we talk about pottery we shay sherds and not shards, fluffed if I know why!

### Kelp everywhere!
This time of year can be bring high tides and rougher seas, which in turn often bring more kelp or seaweed to the shore.

Seaweed means food for the birds!

### Cleaning crew

There were loads of people who arrived as we were at the rocky end of the beach.

I had never seen most of them, and they certainly didn't look like your normal beachcombers, dog walkers or even beach strollers.
I was intrigued.

But it was time to go as there were other things that needed doing!

One last look and it was time to head up the new steps.

### Coastal erosion
It is a constant battle with sand dunes and beaches here. They rebuilt these steps as this is the main egress for this beach at the picnic point.

### Seafield Environmental Group
Up on the picnic area where we had our bacon rolls, there was this banner.
Once I got home I did some googling, and found about the group, which is predominantly about getting a watersports hub here on the beach. However, twice a year they get volunteers to help clean up the beach.
This was a clean up day!

### Thanks for visiting and I hope you managed to get out for a walk this week.
