The Frolics took off in Beveridge Park in Scotland

Hello Hello Hivians Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy is the park that keeps on giving and giving, and is one place I always take my visitors when they are in this neck of the woods. It's Wednesday and the weather has taken a turn. So we are going back to Sunday when it was an absolutely glorious day as you can see from the blue sky. Well it would be a glorious day, it was my birthday after all🤣   Schools in Scotland went back today to start the new academic year, which meant last weekend was busier than normal in the park. Not to worry, I still wanted a walk there to feed the animals and see what was knew. You can't miss a chance to get out in the sunshine when it is sunny! I got the four types of bird and animal food all sorted and away we went!  There is a gorgeous Rose Garden in the park which merits its own post.  Whilst we walked through the Rose Garden we saw someone well dodgy...  No worries they seemed to be a photographer of some sort! To the boat pond we went and fed the swans... The babies are almost as big their mother now!  The new 4 seater swan pedalos have arrived, although the girl that opens the shed/takes the money hadn't turned up! That was a pain as I fancied a shot on one for my birthday! They only open at the weekends on school holidays, that is if the fluffing wee girl turns up for work that is!   Aquatic birds were fed and then it was time to head to our favourite spot to eat lunch and watch the free show!  It was glorious day, the tables were laid but there were no birds! I did the usual set up and waited and looked around.  That sky was absolutely gorgeous! Nature does give us a gorgeous palate of colours when she wants. One great thing about the UK is the amount of green spaces in our city centres, some visitors love this, as do I!  But wait ... Remember I said look up... Can you see the white streaks....  ### It's only a fluff off big fluffing plane in the sky with fluffing fluffy trails!  I had topshot on my phone switched on and so was able to catch this wee motion shot that you see below...  I just find it mindboggling that we can capture things like this on our phones! This is a travel post so where do you think the plane is going? It has either come from or going to Edinburgh ... Kids of today have no idea how lucky they are!  No magpies today but a wee squirrel did decide to come and investigate the food. They love oatmeal.  He had a little nosey around and then .....  ### ... got spooked but something behind him and jumped off into the hedge  #### What spooked him .... 👇  ### Percy and Priscilla Pigeon and their courtship! The squirrel got spooked because behind him these two pigeons were carrying on and have a good old courtship dance...  ### The breakdancing pigeon! The the next thing, one of them, I presume the male did this breakdance!!  There you , frolics galore in the local park! If you want free entertainment when you are next travelling go visit a park and watch!
