Today I am starting an expense paid stay in Vancouver.
No dog. No kids. No chores.
Hooray.

The place isn't super exciting but it has a fridge, sink and basic cooking setup which is nice.
It is also right downtown which is sort of nice.

That's the building there.
Now it does have a pool and hot tub.

But I'm not allowed to use them. Not because I don't have access but rather because my "free trip" is because of a workplace insurance thing.
After years of being a pharmacist I've become allergic to prescription labels. And sure you might think what's the big deal.
Well here is my thumb after two weeks off..

A bit red but no big deal..
This is the same thumb after an 8 hour shift at the pharmacy.

Work a second day and it starts to split and bleed.
During COVID time I didn't realize what was causing the problem and at one point every finger has the skin worn right off the ends. Can't touch anything without gloves. Has to use my phone with the back of my hand. It was brutal.
Anyways I go for allergy testing tomorrow before they make a final decision on what I should do going forward as a pharmacist..... Or not.
... No I didn't really about my steps today but honestly I did get them...
Until tomorrow :)
