El día del curso nos encontramos en un lugar céntrico de la ciudad con otras chicas. Desde allí, ella nos recogió y nos llevó al lugar de la capacitación. Al llegar, me di cuenta de que era un espacio pequeño pero súper lindo y bien acondicionado para las clases. Algo que me gustó mucho es que las mesas estaban listas y preparadas con un lugar para cada una de nosotras, de hecho, todas tenían un nombre indicando dónde se sentaría cada participante.
On the day of the course, we met up with the other girls in a central location in the city. From there, she picked us up and took us to the training venue. When we arrived, I realized it was a small but very nice space, well equipped for classes. Something I really liked was that the tables were set up and ready with a place for each of us; in fact, they all had a name indicating where each participant would sit.

We settled in, left our belongings on a coat rack, and placed the materials we were supposed to bring on the table. The course included 80% of the materials, and we only had to bring a cuticle cutter, a 100/180 file, and a polishing block. The class would last 8 hours and began around 9:30 in the morning. We were greeted with coffee, and although I don't usually drink it, I accepted because it was a special occasion.

Aprendimos a remover un sistema de Soft Gel o Jelly Tips, a preparar correctamente el área de trabajo y las uñas, y a aplicar el sistema. Después de la parte teórica, pasamos a la práctica en nuestras propias manos, aplicando cada cosa que íbamos aprendiendo. Una vez que tuve mis tips puestos, procedimos con el esmaltado semipermanente, que también nos enseñaron a hacer en uñas naturales y artificiales. Trabajamos dos técnicas: Cat Eye y Encapsulado, además de un acabado profesional para el esmaltado semipermanente.
The course began with a little theory about nails and how to perform a manicure. We talked about products and techniques. We learned how to remove a Soft Gel or Jelly Tips system, how to properly prepare the work area and nails, and how to apply the system. After the theoretical part, we moved on to the practical part on our own hands, applying everything we had learned. Once I had my tips on, we proceeded with the semi-permanent polish, which they also taught us how to do on natural and artificial nails. We worked on two techniques: Cat Eye and Encapsulation, as well as a professional finish for semi-permanent polish.
Por la tarde, tomamos café y galletas que nuestra anfitriona nos ofreció. Al terminar la clase, me sentía muy feliz y orgullosa porque logré un resultado muy bonito y profesional. Ella se comunicó de forma correcta con nosotras, nos hizo llegar toda la información necesaria y nos agradeció por confiar en su trabajo. Nos tomamos las fotos respectivas y, como ya era hora de irnos, nos dirigimos apuradas al mismo lugar donde nos había recogido.
In the afternoon, we had coffee and cookies that our hostess offered us. At the end of the class, I felt very happy and proud because I achieved a very beautiful and professional result. She communicated with us correctly, gave us all the necessary information, and thanked us for trusting her work. We took the respective photos and, as it was time to leave, we hurried to the same place where she had picked us up.
Como vivo lejos de la ciudad, necesitaba salir antes de que pasara el último bus, de lo contrario, tendría que quedarme, y yo estaba súper agotada y solo quería llegar a casa. Since I live far from the city, I needed to leave before the last bus passed, otherwise I would have to stay, and I was super exhausted and just wanted to get home. Thank God, I arrived at seven in the evening, but very happy. I showed my nails to my whole family and received many compliments and congratulations.
