Wow, Splinterlands inteface changed a lot. I can't even find my old cards on there. I stopped playing for some time. Actually forgot about it. I came across my Splinterlands hoodie in the closet the other day and it jarred my memory. I decided to take a peak and see if my old cards matured in value, and wondered what they're worth. If I researched properly, I'm under the impression the old cards lost all the value?

What Happened to that big gorgeous deck I once owned? ##
How do I even find my old cards?
I had a bunch of legendary cards too. Seems nothing I have is currently playable. It has to be at least two years since I even thought about that game.
I stopped playing because the game seemed like it was turning into a "money grab". I get it, it's a business. Regardless, I would have thought they would have kept the older cards playable or offer legacy leagues or something. Am I missing that? Are the older cards even playable?
Like everything crypto I built my deck by playing and trading . My only real investment is time and imaginary internet money. Still, I thought my old decks would be worth something.
If anyone is interested in my old card sets let me know. I had some real gems in there. A lot of time, and a lot of imaginary internet monies went into those decks. 🤣 I kind of expected as much, but really felt the creators would have worked to maintain the values of those older cards.
Now I'm actually glad I stopped playing when I did.
Any thoughts on older cards? Should I just write them off as a loss? Any use? Any way to play them in game? Spent a lot of time and money for them to be absolutely worthless to me. That would kind of suck!
If anyone can answer any of these questions, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm not crying, I'd just like to know if the cards are worth anything or playable.
