Hi Hive, I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I’ve got some exciting news! My grandparents came to stay at the lake for two weeks,
and since they won’t be here for Christmas, we got some early Christmas presents.
Amari got a lot of stuff — shampoos, swimsuits, clothes, body scrubs, perfumes, and all those fancy things. I didn’t get as much — just two T-shirts — but honestly, I got something way cooler than anything I could’ve asked for.
I got… drum roll please… a mini oxygen tank! A real one. It’s 1 liter, black, and looks like something a scuba diver would use — except tiny.
We set it up right away, but the catch was… it had to be pumped by hand.
So I spent two whole days pumping it — 800 pumps! And not easy ones either. My arms felt like noodles by the end. Finally, after forever, the tank was ready.
That afternoon, we decided to go for a walk. We climbed up a small mountain near the lake — the view from the top was beautiful — then headed down to the beach. The water looked perfect, clear and calm, so I grabbed my mini oxygen tank, set it up, and went in.
At first, it was weird trying to breathe underwater. My chest felt tight and I could hear the little hiss of air with every breath. But after a minute or two, it started to feel natural. I just floated there, watching the bubbles drift up and sunlight shimmer through the water.
It was amazing.
The only problem? It only lasted 15 minutes. Two whole days of pumping for 15 minutes underwater! 😅 Still, it was totally worth it.
Tomorrow, we’re going to the city to buy a mini air pump — that’ll fill it in just 10 minutes. I’m so excited to try again once it’s ready.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for now. My next post will be about me using my mini oxygen tank again (this time with the air pump, thank goodness). For all the missing pictures here’s a video
