Silks climbing walls and hive hub

I’ve just started doing silks and climbing again after being away for a year, and let me just say: my body is not impressed. I’ve been doing both for years, so I expected to slide right back into it, but no. My muscles were like, “You abandoned us,” and now every time I go climbing it feels like an aggresive reunion with gravity and some serious muscle cramps…

Right now I’m doing silks once a week and climbing once a week. Silks is fun until I’m halfway through a trick and realize I’ve somehow tied myself into a position that’s not humanly possible to exit. Like, cool trick, now how do we get down without dying?

Climbing is just as dramatic. I’ll stare at the wall like it personally insulted me, then get halfway up and suddenly forget how legs work. There’s always that one hold that looks easy and turns out to be the slipperiest thing on the planet. Every climb turns into me laying on the ground wishing I never started this route. But even though everything aches and I’ve definitely slammed my elbow into the floor more than once, I’m glad to be back. I really enjoy climbing and silks and doing it with my friends. didn’t realize how much I actually missed it since I didn’t do it for about a year and of course I thought about it but I was also thinking about what country we were going to next! But now that I’m back I realized I have really missed it.

Also—we’ve been talking about doing a Dorothy play. Not a brand new idea since last year when we were still here my friend came up with it! But it’s nice to finally start preparing and having practice days for it!! I’m really excited since it’s also going to be LIKE the wizard of oz but slightly different so it’s the same plot but different story, so it’s more interesting! I might be the lion I don’t know why but I really want to be hahahahah.

So yeah, I’m back at it—climbing walls, hanging from fabric, and maybe turning into a scared lion or evil witch!

And also a little extra thing that I’m adding is that I have been working up at the reception! I made a full post about my new job but now its up by the road and we just added a new feature that you can pay with hbd so thats really cool! This is all part of the Hive Hub combining with the hotel reception.
@ninaeatshere and @starkerz have been showing me the tools and teaching me how to use them. 😀 It is much easier than i thought it would be.
