Hello again everyone, I'm still Byron and I'm still drawing zombies. Today I started my livestream on Twitch with the intention of painting some zombie dogs.
Over the last week people have given me pictures of their dog to paint so today was the day I started creating a Horde of zombie doggos.
I cut up my paper into bite sized pieces and got to work ... and it quickly went wrong as you will soon see.
I did not take any process shots although I could go grab screen shots from the Twitch video. I started with ink to sketch out the shape and features, then started to paint. There is a long way to go and while I think I can salvage this, I don't think I can do it without getting drastic and pulling out the acrylic paint get get heavy and thick with it.
Currently it's drying but later on, if I update the art, I will post an updated post, so stay tuned.
After that slightly disappointing dog start, I went over to one of my square papers and got to work on something a bit more familiar. I call these paintings JAZ - Just Another Zombie.
I should have been numbering them but I didn't. If I did, I am sure I'd be in the hundreds or even beyond a thousand by now. Maybe this will be my brand new #1 and I'll start to number them from now on. Or at least until I forget to number them.
This one was inks, then paint, then inks again to thicken up the important lines, followed by a little bit more paint. I will probably tweak it a bit more with some gel pens before putting it my ko-fi store.
I'm purposely using a square size paper to create some art one since some people really like squares and the shape also translates very easily to NFTs.
While this JAZ dried I grabbed my sketchbook and started to paint a drawing I previously drew. There's a long way to go on this one but I thought I'd show an early shot now since I won't remember to document it while I finish it.
This is another one of those paintings that I digitally cut up into pieces and let the community find the NFTs to reassemble. It's good wholesome collecting fun on the WAX blockchain.
I have a lot of different artworks on the go all the time. It helps me to not get bored or that stuck in a rut feeling that happens all to often.
So that is my day of livestreaming on Twitch today. I was hoping to get to some tiktok streaming and even more on Twitch but time slips away.
Until next time, thanks for reading.
