There are always street vendors wherever you visit. We can see numerous stores and mini stalls selling a wide range of products. Here in our town, we have a spot where a few street vendors sell their goods every day, regardless of whether it's a sunny or rainy day. They were located in the terminal area, where public transportation, such as jeepneys and buses, stopped to pick up passengers.
We recently visited the town proper and saw more carts in the terminal. They were the street vendors we were talking about, and the municipality has offered them a small business with a cart. Upon checking, they are selling the usual snacks, such as chips and bread, maybe for the passengers waiting. They also offer drinks, such as soda and water.
One of the vendors is selling some cigarettes and candies. A perfect business in a spot where people come and stop by every day for their commute and travel. We realized that even with the heat and heavy rain, these street vendors still choose to make a living, maybe for their families or personal needs.
In this kind of small business, there will be days when sales are rough, and there may be days when almost all of their products are sold out. Regardless of that, it is still great to see people who are doing their best to show up and make a living.
So, that's it for today. Thank you so much for reading. See you on our next blog. Sending good vibes to everyone!
