Big acquisition of new Splinterlands assets for me this week. I have been eyeing a new, complete tract for a while now and I finally made it happen!
Interested to know where the location is? Read on to find out!
Let's start with some Splinterlands Land resource harvesting updates.
Routine Harvest
Region 46 - Thalos
Let's start with our plots in Region 46, Thalos. This is a tract I share with a couple of guildmates.
Prior to today, I have only harvested resources once this week.
Tax collection from Keeps is only done once a week, typically on Saturdays.
It's now time to collect some taxes.
These natural resources accumulated from taxes will be swapped for DEC and then used to further develop our guild: TeamPH.
Region 50 - Ia'telda
Heading over to my first personal tract, we will perform the same procedure in claiming our resources though there's an additional step that we have to do before we are able to harvest Aura in this region.
The Claim All button is grayed out due to the insufficient Stone in the region to do a full harvest.
We have to obtain Stone for the region by shipping/transporting some from Region 46 to Region 50.
We can now do a Claim All in this region.
Let's see how much taxes we have collected in my Keep.
Region 77 - Darkmooth
This is the newest addition to my personal tracts. It took a while before I was able to save up and buy this piece of Praetoria.
I had to part with some of my beloved Splinterlands assets like Modern Cards and some Totem Fragments in order to generate enough funds to acquire this tract.
This is my long-term play in Splinterlands. Acquiring more and more of the scarcer assets in the game.
I moved my workers around a few days ago. Let's now harvest the resources in this Iron-rich grounds!
And now, the new Keep!
A common totem fragment!
Not bad for a first claim with this new Keep!
Other Regions: 114 Tostrington and 119 Lonshire
I have had active plots in other regions but like mentioned earlier, I had to move workers around to start production in my new tract.
I pulled out all of my workers in Region 114 and only left 1 active plot in Region 119.
We will perform the same process to do a full claim on Region 119 using the stockpiled resources in Region 114.
Soon, I will fully move out of Lonshire as I did Tostrington and focus on other regions where I have Keeps in.
Resource Swapping
We swapped resources gathered from an earlier claim into DEC. It was used to fund the last of my payments to acquire the new tract.
Just a bit over 22,000 DEC this week.
The stockpiled resources today from harvesting and from taxes will be used to build some Wagon Kits for repairing damaged wagons during the Conflict. I will also need to hold onto a few for future use.
Once I have enough Wagon Kits built, I will start swapping land resources for DEC again.
Also, the prices of Stone have been dropping and the prices of Wood and Iron have been rising.
We are nearing a very efficient market.
Guild Updates
The taxes collected from the Region 46 Keep will be converted to Guild Power and will be used to power up our Guild's buildings.
LP Position
The final step of my Weekly Routine is increasing my position in the Grain-DEC Liquidity Pool. This is done via the Trade Hub.
I usually use a portion of swapped DEC from non-grain resources as part of the Grain-DEC pair.
This time around, I will contribute 1 million Grain into the pool. 500k Grain will be converted to DEC, while the other 500k should complete the pair.
Now let's move over to the Trade Hub.
My share of the pool is now at 1.282%. A bit smaller than my position from last week.
Further Developments: New Milestones
I did reach my milestone of hitting 350 owned plots last week. I think this new acquisition takes goal-setting out of the ball park!
While the number of active plots went down due to the 3-day cooldown of moving workers around, the number of plots owned have increased.
440 plots. 440 out of the 150,000 plots that will ever exist!
Sometime next week, this number will be lowered down to 430 owned due to a prior agreement with a buyer of the land plots I moved out of.
Might even go lower than that in case one of the friends I am trying to help with is ready to reach Baron (or Baroness) status. Just a few more plots in order to achieve that goal!
We will find out soon enough.
It might take a bit of time for me to get 100 active plots again. The DEC used to power up these plots became portion of my payments to secure the new tract.
However, I don't doubt I will reach that goal again.
Regarding current production, my lineup is as follows:
