It was a good week this week in the options markets so I got to go an add some more metals to the stack! Nothing special, just some good ole generic bullion. I stack for the weight, not the coins. It's just easier to cost average that way. With silver hitting the prices it has recently, my dealer said people have been selling like crazy, when it's poised to do nothing but keep going up in this economic landscape. I agree, I feel like the market is building a new floor at these levels, so I am going to keep stacking!
First up is a good old buffalo round. I have a bunch of these already, but again, my collection is all about the weight, so if they are only $.50 over spot, I'll keep taking them! I didn't even take a picture of the back, because we all know what it looks like, haha.
The next one is the 'Don't Tread On Me' Gadsden Flag round from the Money Metals Exchange's mint. I liked this one because it speaks to my anarchist/libertarian point of view, which is also why I stack silver in the first place!
The back of the coin has a rendition of the Boston Tea Party, which basically sparked the Revolutionary War. That was back in the day when men stood up for what was right and fought against the establishment, instead of posting a bunch of being a bunch of weak 'Karens' posting non-sense on social media. I want to be more like the founders of the country and stand up for what is right and possibly die for my freedom than to be a safe, comfortable, little slave.
And the third piece added to the stack today was the 'Libery and Freedom' piece from SD Bullion. It has a beautiful eagle on the front with the circle of stars on the edge with the SD Bullion logo on the back of the coin.
Like I said, nothing special, but it's always a good day when you get to go and buy some silver for your stacks and protect your wealth instead of having to use it to pay bills or some crap like that! And knowing that the general public isn't buying, that has premiums extremely low, so I am going back next week to scoop up as much as I can get then, haha.
