Our Mothers Did It Singlehandedly. Getting a Care Giver is Simply Laziness

@themcmedia · 2025-11-01 15:10 · GEMS

Our mothers singlehandedly took care of the house without help

They swept the whole house inside and out twice every day

Went to the farm morning and evening like it was meal

They washed for everyone Fetched water Cooked Cleaned every weekend

Woke up as early as 4:00 am, straight to the farm, did some harvest, then to the market to sell the produce

All these while still housing two little humans in their womb

They gave birth to 9 and took care of them without asking for help

And guess what? They never grew weary They never complained

They were completely traditional. Happily leaving their lives

But YOU? Pregnant with just one (just one ooo) and you can't lift an arm.

You are tired already.

I have read and heard these things countless times and each time I kept wondering where conscience went to

Dear young lady,

It's in your best interest to know today that, there is no trophy for who suffered most.

Do not let yourself get drained Do not let yourself get frústrated Do not live for your children alone. Live for your self too.

If you want to have a voice that will be heard. If your dream is beyond running from the living room to the kitchen and back, you need help

Help from your spouse Help from family Help from neighbors Help from anyone available at all

Yes! You need a care Giver

If you try to juggle everything together alone, you will get drained

You will get depressed You will feel lost

Leave "strong woman" alone.

It is better to be labelled "lazy" and at the end you achieved your dreams than to loose yourself trying to prove a point

Get help fine girl

PS: I have not said you should not take care of your home oo. I only said you should get help so you can keep your dreams alive.
