today, I'll show my first contribution to the #BeachWednesday initiative. Well, it is not a real beach but at least, there is water and sand and so I thought, it will match the topic somehow. ;-)

In May 2015, I visited a friend of mine and her family in Berlin and I finally succeeded to take a look at the Strandbad Wannsee. It is an open-air pool with a beach at the Großer Wannsee which is a bight of the Havel. The Wannsee is quite popular in Germany because there are a few songs where it is mentioned in. It is also important for the citizens of Berlin as a local recreation area close to the city.
