ARTFLAKES – another one bites the dust
I may have posted this one before (on other social platforms), but it is important to know, since when you surf the web for 'Artflakes' there are numerous hits from mostly artists (like me) offering prints from a platform that does not exist anymore. On Facebook there is a page for Artflakes that hasn't posted since November 2024, and the link leads to nowhere (just like all the Internet hits).
On my blog, I followed the trail of its demise, plus a link to the last known appearance on the Internet Archive, February 25th 2024.
Previously published on my Wordpress blog - and checking up on the internet again, I find this with a wrong heading, but responses are from years ago: ARTFLAKES Erfahrungen & Bewertungen 2025
On my website, I had listed ‘Artflakes’ as one of my POD shops – now I find out it seemed to have ‘expired’ like the parrot on the famous Monty Python sketch – it doesn’t exist anymore, belly up, I presume. I found discussions about this on the Stockphoto Forum.
So, back to the drawing board, find another reliable POD shop? I already have Fine Art America and its offshoot Pixels. So it may not be a high priority, except maybe to find one within the EU/Schengen Area, because FAA is a US company.

and here are a couple of my pages

As I mentioned above – back to the drawing board. So far, I have not found a POD site within the EU. Any suggestions? Let me know in the comments.
Just to make it a bit more interesting, here are two gratuitous images I created on Nightcafe with my 'New Selfie Lora':

Final Words of wisdom and a pet concern of mine, especially about art diplomas:
I had in years past come across quite a few 'fake diplomas' that pretend to be academic credentials. Next to '[Pay to Play Galleries](https://medium.com/@michalplis/exploring-ethics-of-pay-to-play-galleries-in-the-art-world-31393dc0b42e)' they are the scourge to be avoided. The summary of a paper about this spells it out

If you google the title you will find where this book is available, but also there are many videos on this subject.
