Mi entrada al concurso TopFamily "Observa, Piensa, Escribe": 🌧️ Entre aguas y recuerdos, Venezuela resiste 🇻🇪 [Esp - Eng]

Un cordial saludo al profesor @lanzjoseg y a todos los integrantes de la hermosa comunidad #TopFamily 🙌. Cada sábado, el concurso Observa, Piensa y Escribe nos regala la oportunidad de detenernos frente a una imagen y dejar que hable a nuestros recuerdos y emociones. Al observar la fotografía de esta semana, mi corazón viajó de inmediato al oriente de mi querida Venezuela 🌴, a Puerto La Cruz, donde la lluvia se ha convertido en protagonista de los últimos días. Calles inundadas, autos avanzando con precaución y un cielo gris nos muestran una realidad difícil, pero también un reflejo de la resistencia y la esperanza de nuestra gente. ______  **Imagen propiedad de @lanjoseg** ______ Al detenerme frente a esta imagen, siento que no es solo una calle cubierta de agua la que se muestra, sino también un retrato de la vida misma 🌧️. La lluvia golpea fuerte, oscurece el cielo y nos obliga a cambiar la rutina, pero también trae consigo el recordatorio de que nada es eterno: ni las tormentas, ni los días grises, ni los momentos difíciles. Es verdad, la ciudad se ve cansada, los charcos parecen intransitables, y los autos avanzan despacio, como si cada movimiento exigiera coraje. Sin embargo, esa misma lluvia que ahora complica el tránsito será la que mañana deje la tierra fértil, el aire limpio y el aroma fresco de un nuevo comienzo. Así es la vida de los venezolanos: llena de pruebas, pero también llena de promesas de renovación. Observar a los vehículos desplazarse con cautela 🚗💦 es como ver a nuestro país entero avanzar en medio de sus dificultades. Cada conductor mide con cuidado sus pasos, buscando el camino más seguro para no quedar atrapado. Esa escena es la metáfora de una Venezuela que, aunque enfrenta obstáculos inmensos, no se rinde. Tal vez el avance sea lento, tal vez el recorrido esté lleno de baches y de agua que se acumula, pero lo importante es que seguimos en marcha. No hay resignación, hay paciencia; no hay derrota, hay esperanza. Y como todo en la vida, después de la lluvia vuelve a salir el sol ☀️, iluminando el asfalto y recordándonos que siempre hay una salida. Lo más hermoso de estas escenas, aunque a primera vista puedan parecer duras, es lo que despiertan en nuestra gente 🙌❤️. Allí, en esas calles anegadas, siempre surgen manos dispuestas a ayudar. El vecino que ofrece un aventón, la madre que protege con ternura a su hijo, el joven que sonríe mientras carga lo de los demás para que no se moje, los comerciantes que abren sus puertas para dar refugio aunque sea por unos minutos. En medio de la dificultad, se enciende la chispa de la solidaridad. Y esa chispa, multiplicada en miles de gestos, es la que hace que Venezuela siga de pie. Porque si hay algo que caracteriza a nuestro pueblo es la capacidad de sonreír incluso en la tormenta, de encontrar una razón para cantar incluso bajo la lluvia 🎶🌈. Quiero que esta imagen, más que ser vista como un reflejo de tristeza, se convierta en un símbolo de esperanza y de unión 🌟. Que quienes hoy están en Puerto La Cruz, en Monagas, en Sucre o en cualquier rincón del oriente venezolano puedan sentir que no están solos, que desde distintos lugares del mundo hay corazones que laten con ellos, que oran y desean con todas sus fuerzas que pronto llegue la calma. La lluvia pasará, como siempre lo hace. Y cuando el sol vuelva a brillar, lo hará con más fuerza, iluminando no solo las calles secas, sino también los sueños y las ganas de vivir de un pueblo que nunca se ha rendido. Venezuela resiste, Venezuela sonríe, Venezuela ama 💛💙❤️. Que estas palabras sean un bálsamo de fe y alegría, y que cada lector encuentre en ellas un poquito de paz, un poquito de calma y una gran certeza: lo mejor aún está por venir. When I looked at this week’s photograph, my heart immediately traveled to the east of my beloved Venezuela 🌴, to Puerto La Cruz, where the rain has become the main character in recent days. Flooded streets, cars moving with caution, and a gray sky reveal a difficult reality, but also a reflection of the resilience and hope of our people. ________  **Image property of @lanjoseg** ______ When I stop to look at this image, I feel that it is not just a flooded street we are seeing, but also a portrait of life itself 🌧️. The rain falls hard, darkens the sky, and forces us to change our routine, but it also reminds us that nothing is eternal: not the storms, not the gray days, not the difficult times. Yes, the city looks tired, the puddles seem impassable, and the cars move slowly, as if every step demanded courage. Yet, this very rain that now complicates traffic will tomorrow leave fertile soil, cleaner air, and the fresh scent of a new beginning. That is the story of Venezuelans: lives full of trials, but also full of promises of renewal. Watching the vehicles move cautiously 🚗💦 is like seeing our entire country advancing through its difficulties. Each driver carefully chooses the safest path, trying not to get stuck. That scene is a metaphor for Venezuela itself: even though the obstacles are immense, we do not give up. Maybe progress is slow, maybe the road is full of bumps and water that gathers, but the important thing is that we keep moving. There is no resignation, there is patience; there is no defeat, there is hope. And as in all of life, after the rain the sun always comes out ☀️, shining on the asphalt and reminding us that there is always a way forward. The most beautiful thing about these scenes, even if at first they seem harsh, is what they awaken in our people 🙌❤️. There, in those flooded streets, hands are always ready to help. The neighbor who offers a ride, the mother who tenderly protects her child, the young man who smiles while carrying others’ things so they won’t get wet, the shopkeepers who open their doors to give shelter even if only for a few minutes. In the midst of hardship, the spark of solidarity ignites. And that spark, multiplied in thousands of gestures, is what keeps Venezuela standing. Because if there is something that defines our people, it is the ability to smile even during the storm, to find a reason to sing even under the rain 🎶🌈. I want this image not to be seen as a reflection of sadness, but as a symbol of hope and unity 🌟. For those who today are in Puerto La Cruz, in Monagas, in Sucre, or in any corner of eastern Venezuela, may you feel that you are not alone—that from many places in the world there are hearts beating with you, praying and wishing with all their strength that calm will soon arrive. The rain will pass, as it always does. And when the sun shines again, it will shine stronger, illuminating not only the dry streets but also the dreams and the will to live of a people who have never given up.
