I'm going to start providing regular updates to the progress and goals of The Tear's short film and of the transmedia universe on a near daily basis as a way of keeping me honest and these channels alive.
Let's get started!
Short Film Updates: - V11 of the short script is complete - V3 of the budget is complete - V6 of the crowdfund sizzle is under way - V2 of the virtual sets are under way - V2 of the #Indiegogo campaign copy is complete - New Director of Photography has come aboard - Stage scouting for virtual production is complete - Practical location scouts are complete - The Tear VFX construction kit using #aftereffects is complete. - The Tear VFX construction kit using #UnrealEngine is under way.
Transmedia Universe Updates: - The Tear Wiki is up and running (thetearsees.com/tear-wiki/). It's a repository for the lore I'm creating, but will eventually be used for a collaborative writing community. - Lore building on X and Hive is underway. - AI models and prompts are being refined and utilized for lore building. - The Tear Community is up and running on X (twitter.com/i/communities/…), but broadcasts have not yet commenced. NFT collections of AI generated Tear concept art is up (nftshowroom.com/theothercola/c…).
