As I went through old clothes in the shed, I found this stained, pretty gold/cream-coloured dress. I washed it and planned to turn it into a few projects, and then I thought of using some to make clothes for our kitties for a bit of fun.
I cut a few pieces to make a cape for Blu and a dress for Coco. :)
Then I put them together.!
I sewed them by hand.
Then I added a garter for easy putting on.
I'm trying it on Blu while he is asleep.
Blu will have a cape!
Coco will have a dress!
I was getting excited as I was finishing up.
And all done!
A beautiful pair!

They're just chill kitties. I can't wait to put them on in the daytime; the beautiful gold and pattern don't show up much in the photos.
They wore them for 30 minutes, and then they fell asleep!
It seems this little effort gave them comfort and smiles, even if they weren't too sure about their new fashion statement. And it made us smile, too!
