Coco is one of the most observant kitties I’ve ever had. She is very sharp, easy to train, and she likes her routine.
At some point during the day, when I’m in the kitchen, she will sit on anything high up so she can endlessly watch what I do.
To make her comfortable, I tried putting her in my handmade wall basket. When she was a kitten, she didn’t like it, partly because she was so tiny that she would slip through the holes. Blu, on the other hand, is a big boy and wouldn’t even fit in it anymore.
To my surprise, Coco fit nicely and seemed to love staying up high in this basket.
She didn’t want to come out! Every time I tried to pick her up, she would slap my hands and didn’t want to be touched.
So I let her stay there as long as she wanted. Watching what I was doing and looking out the window, she was very entertained and clearly comfortable, happily observing everything around her.
She loved being gently swung and getting a little stroke from time to time.
When she had enough, she chirped for me to take her out! What a funny cat.
