Been doing some shopping in the Asian market and found these bulbs of garlic already growing. I was very attracted to them.

So I picked one that I thought was the best among the lot.

If I only had a big space for them, I would have picked them all.

To my surprise, when I was about to pay, the tiller gave it to me without charge.

Home and admiring it.

Then I separated them, they are very healthy and very much ready to sprout out!

As the weather has been so good, I decided to clean up my neglected and weathered herb planter.

Planning to move it to a place where it can get lots of sunshine. I had to take all the soil out as it would be very heavy otherwise.

As I removed the soil, I was digging up all sorts, like growing potatoes from the last year's crop that I missed.

Herb Robert was also growing. This wild plant has many benefits. Its high germanium content, which improves oxygen uptake at the cellular level, can help the body resist or recover from radiation exposure. There are many anecdotes about it being effective in supporting cancer recovery.

Lots of wild strawberries were growing also, and I transplanted them. They are rich in Vitamin C, which supports digestion, anti-inflammatory, menstrual relief, and skin health. It helps the body release excess water, and it can be used as a mouth rinse for sore throats or mouth ulcers. I always have them around in the garden as it is so handy.

Some Bergenia cordifolia they can self ferment and tasty as herbal tea.

A wild garlic sprouting, too! It is amazing how deep the roots are; no wonder why they are difficult to control when they are overgrown and turn invasive.

Bergenia cordifolia, a nice herbal tea.

These plants I took out that I put in a different container this time, as they don't need deep soil I plan to put something in the planter that needs deeper soil, such as root crops, turmeric, ginger, etc.

I moved the planter to the sunny corner of the garden and put back about 8 bags of 50L soil.

Then on one edge, I planted the garlic. Looking forward to adding more plants in this.

I hope these baby garlic bulbs will soon bloom, and I feel good that I saved even just a bulb.

Have a wonderful day,
