Not too long of a wait
I luckily didn't have to wait too long for this package to arrive. Sadly the courier decided it was easier to just drop off the package at the package point rather than checking the doorbell numbers at the gate and therefore I had to pick it up a day later due to not having the time.
Yesterday evening while the kid was at swimming classes, I picked up the package and I was so happy opening it as the 4 rounds look very cool!
Which mint?
I know they were from the legendary warrior collection but yet had to look up from which mint they come from but I found it today. Silvertowne mint is the answer. With my still small, but steadily growing collection of silver coins and rounds, I don't know all these mints yet or at least not which collections they made as the OG collectors do.
Four picks
From the ones that were for sale, I picked 4 of my favourite ones and I actually expected them to not be that nice anymore, probably because of the pictures I was shown, maybe bad lightning, I mean I don't know. I was super pleased to see they look so great upon opening the package!
Taking pictures of them was a huge challenge with my current painful arms and hands, it's gotten so much worse in the past days that I barely get anything done behind the computer, let alone that I can hold the heavy camera to take pictures without being in a lot of pain. Grip and pressure is what hurts most in my hands, even some cutting of food that's quite tender or easy to cut normally is horrible for me atm. I had to write this post in three times as well as take a break for the pictures in between.
Today I will share the first one of the series that I added to my collection of silver.
Release 1: Eric Bloodaxe
As I found the release order of the rounds on the website of Silvertowne mint, I figured let's start with the one that's been released first: Eric Bloodaxe.
To save myself some serious typing and pain doing so, below the description from the website:
I know very little about Vikings to be completely honest but I think this design is pretty badass!
I really love the reverse side of this series as well, it's pretty neat don't you think?
That's part one of this series, one more ounce of silver added to the collection, slowly but steadily... let me know if you like this Legendary Warrior series yourself in the comments below.
