Well, the antarctic season is well underway with many of my colleagues and friends currently on various ships exploring the peaceful continent of Antarctica. Sadly, I had to give up my contracts due to the international border policy of Australia or lack thereof.
At the end of the day I am very aware that I will indeed be lucky enough to be back on an expedition ship and explore once again Antarctica. Until then though, I shall be living vicariously through my friends/colleagues and their experiences. However, I am lucky enough at least to have a few 1,000 photos from past expeditions to remain in a glorious state of nostalgia.
