Hello dear friends who frequently visit this beautiful community, it is a great pleasure for me to be with you again to tell you about another of my many experiences with my great friend “EL CAFË”....
Yesterday I had the opportunity to see my youngest daughter, who was in Maracay/Aragua State, at her mother-in-law's house, about 3 hours from where I live. I traveled alone in my car during that time, She decided to leave her mother-in-law's house and wait for me at a bakery near the house where they sell coffee (which, according to her, is very good), since she knows that after a long road trip, there's nothing like a good cup of coffee.
She sent me the location and I arrived without any problems. After greeting each other, kissing and hugging, we sat down and ordered coffee with milk, as well as a strawberry tartlet and a chocolate and vanilla cake.
I sensed that my daughter was a little nervous, and for a moment I was alarmed, as it was very unusual for her not to wait for me at home before going out for coffee.
I asked her what was going on, and she replied with a big smile on her face: “Nothing, Mom, I just have a big surprise for you and wanted to give it to you alone.” Tell me, daughter, I said! She replied, “My husband bought plane tickets for us to go to Los Roques Archipelago (an island located in the Caribbean Sea, north of Venezuela) next weekend.” “Really?” I asked, hugging her tightly, congratulating her, and expressing my joy and satisfaction.
We talked for a while as we enjoyed that delicious, frothy coffee. She wasn't lying when she told me that the coffee there is really good.
She told me the whole story of how they went about getting the tickets, since they had been trying to take this trip for years, and the children were too young to leave behind.
But the biggest surprise wasn't the trip itself. The biggest surprise for me was when she asked if the children could stay with me while they were away, ha ha ha.
looked me straight in the face, as if afraid that I wouldn't like the idea, but my expression was one of excitement and great joy at the prospect of spending at least three days with my grandchildren, whom I don't see often since we live in different states.
I replied, “Of course, my love, it would be my pleasure to enjoy my beloved grandchildren for those few days. God willing, they can stay with me at my house for much longer.”
She smiled and hugged me, thanking me, very moved. We finished enjoying our delicious snack, paid the bill, and went to her mother-in-law's house, feeling very happy. That's all for my little story, dear friends. Thank you for reading. Best regards.
