Hola queridos amigos que siempre transitan por esta hermosa comunidad. Por aquí estoy de nuevo con ustedes, motivada a escribir ya que es la primera vez que mi nieta Leila de 6 años de edad se separa de sus padres para pasar 15 días conmigo en sus vacaciones escolares.
Me la trajeron el sábado 02 de Agosto, el domingo 03 de agosto se fueron y me la dejaron, entre risas y llantos la niña se despidió de sus padres y de su hermano de 2 años de edad.
Desde el primer día que nos quedamos en casa mi corazón no se quedó quieto ni un solo instante, que experiencia tan hermosa, realmente me remonté a unos 30 años atrás cuando criaba a mi hija (su mamá).
Durante los 3 primeros días Leila lloraba en la noche diciendo que extrañaba a su mami, pero a partir del 4to día ya no lloró ni un solo día más, cuando se estaba durmiendo en mi pecho me comentó: “Abuela tú tienes la misma textura suave en tu piel que la de mi mami”, Dios que cosa más hermosa, entonces la que lloraba era yo, jajaja…
Hello dear friends who always pass through this beautiful community. Here I am again with you, motivated to write because it is the first time that my 6 year old granddaughter Leila is separated from her parents to spend 15 days with me on her school vacation.
They brought her to me on Saturday August 2nd, on Sunday August 3rd they left and left her with me, between laughter and tears the girl said goodbye to her parents and her 2 year old brother.
From the first day we stayed at home my heart did not stay still for a single moment, what a beautiful experience, I really went back to about 30 years ago when I was raising my daughter (her mom).
During the first 3 days Leila cried at night saying she missed her mommy, but from the 4th day on she didn't cry a single day more, when she was falling asleep on my chest she told me: “Grandma you have the same soft texture on your skin as my mommy's”, God what a beautiful thing, then the one crying was me, hahaha....
Después de dormirse en mi pecho la acomodaba en mi cama y ahí dormía corrido toda la noche placenteramente.
Durante esos cortos 20 días compartimos muchas experiencias, comimos juntas, nos bañamos juntas, limpiamos juntas el apartamento, fuimos al parque, a la playa, a comprar cosas para ella (cereal, leche, bebida achocolatada, chucherías y juguetes), cada momento del día todo lo que hacíamos juntas fue realmente estupendo, que felicidad más grande!.
After falling asleep on my chest, I put her on my bed and there she slept all night long, pleasantly.
During those short 20 days we shared many experiences, we ate together, we bathed together, we cleaned the apartment together, we went to the park, to the beach, to buy things for her (cereal, milk, chocolate drink, sweets and toys), every moment of the day everything we did together was really great, what happiness!
Entre tantas cosas que hicimos, no descuidamos las actividades escolares por lo menos 1 hora diaria le dedicábamos, ya que Leila terminó su educación inicial (pre-escolar) y este año va a cursar el 1er grado de educación básica y necesita ir avanzada en la lectura y escritura.
A Leila le encanta el parque. La llevamos a uno que nos queda cerca de la casa, ahí conoció a unas niñas y compartió bastante con ellas, después de más de 5 horas en ese parque nos costó mucho convencerla para irnos a casa, la verdad ella no se cansa, jajaja.
Among the many things we did, we did not neglect school activities, at least 1 hour a day, since Leila finished her pre-school and this year she is going to attend the 1st grade of elementary school and needs to be advanced in reading and writing.
Leila loves the park. We took her to one that is close to our house, there she met some girls and shared a lot with them, after more than 5 hours in that park we had a hard time convincing her to go home, the truth is that she doesn't get tired, hahaha.
Unos días antes de que la vinieran a buscar nos fuimos a la playa con mi esposo y una amiga. Antes pasé por una tienda a comprarle unas sandalias de playa que no trajo, ella aprovechándose de mi nobleza también agarro un juguete.
A few days before they came to pick her up we went to the beach with my husband and a friend.
Before I went to a store to buy her some beach sandals that she didn't bring, she took advantage of my nobility and also grabbed a toy.
Nos fuimos a una playa ubicada en Higuerote/Estado Miranda llamada Carenero, me gusta esa playa para los niños, ya que no es muy onda y una de las distracciones que tiene es que la mayoría de las personas que asisten a esa playa sacan "guacucos" de la arena, mi nieta no fue la excepción y pudo disfrutar de esa experiencia.
We went to a beach located in Higuerote/Estado Miranda called Carenero, I like that beach for the kids, since it is not very cool and one of the distractions it has is that most of the people that go to that beach take guacucos out of the sand, my granddaughter was no exception and she was able to enjoy that experience.
Estaba fascinada de sacar los “guacucos” enterrados en la arena y se llevó una gran sorpresa cuando saco un caracol, quedó muy sorprendida y muy feliz.
She was fascinated to pull out the “guacucos” buried in the sand and was very surprised when she pulled out a snail, she was very surprised and very happy.
Pasamos un día espectacular en familia con mi esposo, mi nieta y con mi gran amiga y vecina Isabel.
Si les contara todo lo que hicimos juntas mi nieta y yo, necesitaría muchas publicaciones, a pesar de que solo fueron 20 días hicimos muchísimas cosas maravillosas, aquí en esta presentación les dejo un resumen lleno de mucha energía positiva, amor y gratitud.
La despedida como toda despedida fue muy dolorosa, pero eso si no lo quiero comentar, ya que lo que quiero resaltar es lo maravilloso que fueron esos días con mi nieta.

We spent a spectacular family day with my husband, my granddaughter and my great friend and neighbor Isabel.
If I were to tell you everything we did together, my granddaughter and I, I would need many publications, even though it was only 20 days we did many wonderful things, here in this presentation I leave you a summary full of positive energy, love and gratitude.
The farewell as any farewell was very painful, but I do not want to comment on that, because what I want to emphasize is how wonderful those days were with my granddaughter.
