A special weekend

I took a different turn last weekend. Hello, beautiful ladies and gentlemen. It's another weekend, and it feels good to be here with you guys again. So back to the question of the day, which says. When was the last weekend you did something completely and totally different from what you usually do?  So I'm a typical African woman, and most of what I do on weekends is laundry, washing my clothes and the children's too. After that I clean the whole house and make it look good for Sunday. But this particular weekend that just passed, I didn't wash any clothes; all that was on my mind was to make my children's birthday memorable, which didn't turn out the way I planned it.  You know that saying that said, as you are planning your own, God is also planning his own, and who am I to question God? I was actually planning a birthday party for my boys. My first child, IVAN, turn three years old on the 8th of this month, August, and my second child, ILION, just celebrated his first birthday 🎈🎂 on the 9th of this same August. The joy 😊 of every parent is to see their children grow right in their faces. I was so excited that I didn't do my regular house chores; rather, I was just planning for the party 🥳. See my last weekend celebralts IVAN and ILION.  But unfortunately rain 🌧️ didn't allow us to celebrate the birthday as planned, so we stayed indoors and ate the food I prepared. I made masa and jollof rice for us. I have shared it here on Hive before on how rain 🌧️ turned my birthday plans the other way. And like I said before, the reason why I didn't wash our clothes as per my usual routine is because I was planning my babies birthday party. Thank you for reading through.
