What is the fate of an average Nigerian. A question I've asked several times and also searched for the answer, and till date no answer. In our world ๐ of today, the poor educated man will always be nobody, while the illiterate rich will always be the ones that rules. So something happened within the week, and I just sat down and searched for answers that I never got. An old classmate of mine, back then in secondary school ๐ซ, was just appointed as an AS to the local government chairman in my state and local government.

This lady I'm talking about is someone I'm very familiar with. Back then, this girl was always absent in class; in fact, she couldn't even speak good English. Like, these girl can't confidently make a simple sentence in English, but today she is an AS to a chairman. The only language that she can speak fluently is Hausa. It's a pity that we now live in a world of connections and not qualifications. People who are supposed to be in power are not the ones there; rather, reverse is the case. Like when will this country get better God, when? While watching the swearing in ceremony, I saw that non of them actually marit that position, they all got it by connections. And the truth is, almost all the appointees are school drop out.
I was just asking myself this question, like when will our world get better especially Nigeria my country? The fate of an average Nigerian is just in the hand of God. And I pray that the suffering will not meet our children. I pray that God brings people who will do the right thing soon to power and not the ones that only work for their family and pocket. A painful reality of Nigeria.Thank you for reading through.
