No child is dull; it's just a matter of time. Good day, beautiful educationist. 🥰 Hope I meet you well. Thank you for stopping by my blog.So today I will be sharing with you about children and how to help them out. I can boldly tell you that no child is dumb or dull; it's just a matter of time and being with the right teacher or so.
It's the holiday season/period here in Nigeria; I don't know about other countries, and I think this is the right time to talk to parents about the challenges we, the teachers, are facing with some of the children. And another thing I want to talk about is please, teachers, be kind with your words towards the children; instead of scolding them, encourage them to do better and ask questions where they do not understand, and please do not compare them with other children. That sometimes create haters to the other kids.
At times it is not their fault; sometimes the tension at home does contribute towards children's behavior or attitudes in school. Also advise the parents to please pay attention to their children while at home. Let me tell you a scenario that happened to me sometimes ago.
So I went for my son's open day at school, and a teacher stopped me by to ask about a particular girl and if I was her mother. I told him no. And he said, "The girl is very brilliant, but she kind of needs her parents' attention to put her through in some things, at that point I knew that, the girl in question need her parents help and not the teachers."
So what I mean is school alone is not enough to help groom a child; parents too have some responsibility as the parents in building the future of the children.
So I say no child is dumb or dull; it's just a matter of time. Thank you for reading through.
