Mi presentación en Hive

Hola, familia Hive. ¡Enhorabuena por encontrarles! Me llamo Luciano Puentes. Soy cubano, padre, cristiano, actor y viajero de cuerpo y alma. Para concluir, nací el 31 de octubre de 1974; en la región central de Cuba. Por allá por las montañas más bellas de esta isla, y, sin lugar a dudas, el paraíso de este país. Si alguien se atreve a discutirlo…, venga su demostración matemática. Jaja. Finito!!! Fin del asunto. Con lo dicho hasta aquí ya me conoces. Pero como debo llegar a las 300 palabras tendré que detallarte un poco más; así que te regalo la mejor manera de presentarme con pocas palabras.

Primero deseo hacer un paréntesis y agradecerle a mi amiga y colega de las Artes de muchos años Kenia R P, por presentarme Ecency. Había escuchado sobre Hide de manera accidental, pero hace un par de tardes @kpoulout me llama entusiasmada para contarme de sus recientes experiencias en este mundo de la escritura digital. @kpoulout es una de esas entrañables amigas con las que deseas vivir momentos inolvidables, narradora excepcional… Y por mi parte, a modo de confesión, alguien con quien hubiese deseado compartir una vida... No digo más, Kenia, por si lees este post: (escritora y mujer) te extraño muchas veces sin que lo sepas.

Mi Familia

Sobre mi gran familia no hablaré porque no tenemos tiempo para tanto, ni creo que quieran saber. Jeje. Hijo de Madre y Padre “normales”, hermanas y hermano, sobrina y sobrino, abuelos, tías, tíos y decenas de primos… Sin embargo, como me presenté en el primer párrafo, soy padre. Y esto sí define mi existencia.

Isabelle Lucía es el regalo más grande que Dios me ha dado. Luego, estoy seguro, escribiré muchas veces sobre ella, pues es mi todo, por el momento. (Olvidé comentarte que soy divorciado, al presente ella es toda mi Famiglia).

Por ahora, para presentarme en esta plataforma diré que Lucía es una niña encantadora de 11 años de edad (vio la luz en el verano de 2014). Es agradable, servicial, amiga de todos -tanto de niños como de adultos de cualquier edad-, muy activa, emprendedora y artista… En el colegio obtiene sobresalientes en todas las asignaturas y hace muy feliz a este papi orgulloso de serlo. Si la conocieren podrían constatar que es el modelo de hija que todos quisiéramos tener. Ok. Para mí lo es.

Profesión

Aunque soy graduado de Comunicación Social por la Universidad de la Habana, nunca lo he ejercido en términos profesionales. Entre mis andanzas más queridas he sido Instructor de Arte del Sistema de Casas de Cultura, Profesor de Literatura y Lengua Española, Promotor Cultural y poeta (con minúscula).

En la actualidad soy actor aficionado y utilero del Maestro del Teatro Cubano Adalett y sus títeres. A pesar de cobrar tres centavos y casi morir de hambre puedo resumir que mis tres grandes adicciones son: Lucía, el Teatro y los Viajes. Y, si pudiese, aunque muchos me tildan de loco, mi gran sueño es la unión de estas tres en cada instante de mi existencia.

Hobbies

Una vez más acoto la excepción de las actividades y vivencias con Lucía, para declarar que los Viajes tienen el Top #1 de mis Hobbies. Como te mencioné, ojalá lleguen a ser más que un Hobby. Les amo. Como parte de mis Hobbies más favoritos, me encanta el Vuelo Libre, el Senderismo, el Camping, y, en una ocasión monté en bici durante 5 días entre Russia y Bielorrusia.

Luego te cuento. Jaja. ¡Inolvidable!

My Intro in Hive

Hello, Hive family. I´m glad to finding you! My name is Luciano Puentes. I'm cuban, a father, a christian, an Actor, and a Traveler through and through my heart. To conclude, I was born on October 31, 1974, in the central region of Cuba. Over there in the most beautiful mountains of this island, and, without a doubt, the paradise of this country. If anyone dares to argue with that... come with your mathematical proof. Haha. Done!!! End of story. With what I've said up to this point, you already know me. But since I have to get to 300 words, I'll have to go into a little more detail; so I'll give you the best way to introduce myself in a few words. First, I want to pause and thank my friend and longtime colleague in the Arts, Kenia R P, for introducing me to Ecency. I had heard about Hide by accident, but a couple of afternoons ago, @kpoulout called me excitedly to tell me about her recent experiences in the world of digital writing. @kpoulout is one of those dear friends with whom you wish you could have unforgettable moments, an exceptional storyteller… And for my part, by way of confession, someone I would have liked to share a life with… I'll say no more. Kenia, in case you're reading this post: (writer and woman) I miss you many times without you even knowing.

My Family

I won't talk about my extended family because we don't have time for so much, nor do I think they want to know. Hehe. Son of a "normal" mother and father, sisters and brother, niece and nephew, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and dozens of cousins… However, as I introduced myself in the first paragraph, I am a father. And this defines my existence.

Isabelle Lucía is the greatest gift God has given me. Later, I'm sure, I will write about her many times, as she is my everything, for now. (I forgot to tell you that I'm divorced; at present, she is my entire family.)

For now, to introduce myself on this platform, I'll say that Lucía is a charming 11-year-old girl (born in the summer of 2014). She's pleasant, helpful, a friend to everyone—children and adults of all ages—very active, enterprising, and an artist… At school, she earns straight A's in every subject and makes this proud dad very happy. If you knew her, you'd see that she's the model daughter we'd all like to have. Okay. For me, she is.

Profession

Although I have a degree in Social Communication from the University of Havana, I've never worked professionally. Among my most cherished endeavors have been an Art Instructor for the Cultural Center System, a Professor of Literature and Spanish Language, a Cultural Promoter, and a poet (with a lowercase "p").

Currently, I'm an amateur actor and prop master for the Cuban Theater Maestro Adalett and his puppets. Despite earning three cents and nearly dying of hunger, I can summarize my three greatest addictions as: Lucía, the Theater, and Travel. And, if I could, even though many call me crazy, my greatest dream is to combine these three at every moment of my existence.

Hobbies

Once again, I'll exclude the activities and experiences with Lucía and declare that Travel is the #1 hobbies I have. As I mentioned, I hope they become more than just a hobby. I love them. Among my favorite hobbies, I love free-flying, hiking, camping, and once I rode a bike for five days between Russia and Belarus.

I'll tell you about them later. Haha. Unforgettable!
