With the advancement of legislation, the authorities will provide a boost of legitimacy that will allow companies, especially banks, to fully enter the game. And that will force users who have left the traditional financial market to react to prevent regulation from destroying their interests. So, privacy layers will be created in the largest cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Solana.
Another trend will be the use of non-custodial payment methods like cards to avoid asset confiscation. All of this will bring controversy, but it will continue to advance. In the long term, if servers are installed in space, legal jurisdiction will become tenuous, and states will begin to have problems controlling their populations in the digital realm, but that would be a topic for another article.
