Happy New Month and Welcome to my blog!
Looking back to 2009, it is very clear that crypto and blockchain technology has garnered significant attention and adoption 16 years later. This is thanks to the advocacy of some early adopters, projects and the myriad opportunities crypto and blockchain technology brings to the fore.
Today, millions of individuals now leverage cryptocurrencies for profit-making, everyday payments and cross-border transactions. Likewise, a handful of governments and institutions have embraced the financial shift, creating their respective strategic crypto reserves. These developments go further to prove that crypto is here to stay and anyone not aligning will definitely be left behind.
The Need for Crypto Education
However, there is need for crypto education and awareness given the large knowledge gap. Accordingly, as industry stakeholders, experts, and beneficiaries of the ecosystem, we have to continue sharing the knowledge to anyone who cares to listen or learn.
With this mindset, I have been consistent and very passionate about crypto education and awareness. This led to the launch of Nitadel, a crypto media/education platform where we publish both breaking news and educational content.
The goal is educate as many as possible so as contribution to the reduction of poverty in our society and also inspire innovations. Moreover, it is to let industry enthusiasts understand that so much can be done with blockchain technology to better our society. Notably, blockchain is beyond cryptocurrency.
Celebrating My Recognition
Interestingly, on 21 March 2025, during the Ibom Blockchain Summit 2025 at the Ibom Hall grounds in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, I was recognized by the organizing team and given the "Contributor on Chain" award.
This award underscores my expertise in the space as well as my dedication, passion, commitment to blockchain awareness and development in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, Africa and globally.
With the recent legalization of digital assets—which covers cryptocurrencies—in Nigeria, I look forward to teaching and sharing more insights about crypto, blockchain and Web3 in entirety.
