Weekend engagement #281 / 5 Things I'd Change

Hello to all lovers of weekend activities.

I have been interacting less than usual and the essential cause is in a disease problem that I am overcoming.

Even for these days I don't have much desire to publish due to the damage caused by Hurricane Melisa that left us so much damage in its wake.

Although I am not fully recovered, I have decided to participate in one of the topics of @galenkp in which he invites us to reflect on what we would change in our lives if we managed to survive a heart attack.

Because of the health situation I found myself in at one point of my illness, I have decided to share five things I would change about my life if I managed to survive a life-threatening health issue:

The first thing I would do would be to value the people who are by my side in their fair measure. In this difficult time in my life, my wife, her children and my siblings are the ones who have supported and helped me. They were joined by neighbors and co-workers. On the other hand, other people who I thought would be there with a word of encouragement or a how you feel never showed up or asked.

I'd fuck off most of the things that disturb my life and have a more enjoyable life. I apologize for using that language. But, it is what I would do with some things that I give importance to and disturb my well-being, to give priority to what is really important: my home, my family, my health.

I would spend more time at home. This is my greatest refuge and my safe guarantee.

Despite all the time I give him, I think I would give him much more because my best feelings are well kept in him and those who truly care about me.

I would change my sedentary lifestyle and resume the practice of physical exercises. I was always a person who practiced several sports and, the truth is that until about 7 years ago I did. I must admit that, due to responsibility at work, daily fatigue or laziness, the truth is that I have abandoned this practice and my health has been the one who has suffered the most.

I would live each day as if it were the last of my life. This is clear to me. I would do what I like, I would be enjoying life with the people I care about and visiting the places that the economy and life allow me to.

A final comment

If life gives us a second chance, it will be so that we do not make the same mistakes in our lives and, among the things that we should reconsider, it would be to reevaluate our lifestyles because life is one, it is short and we will not have the possibility of living it again.

What do you think?
