It's time to start preparing for winter

Although the weather is still warm, it's time to think about how my animals and birds will winter. Dogs and cats will obviously be in the house (they are still in the house now). But squirrels, rabbits, chickens and a stork will obviously not be happy with such life changes. That's why I try to provide them with comfortable conditions where they are used to being. For this, first of all, you need to buy straw 🤔

At the same time, as experience has shown, rabbits do great without my help. They make such deep holes that they are not afraid of the cold. Especially since winters are very mild now.

And this is our new one. This happens in squirrels - late baby-squirrels. When the weather is warm, they have offspring for the second time. But the problem is to have time to raise the kids before the onset of cold weather. I don't know how this baby lost his mother. But now he will live with us.

The Beak-2 stork doesn't bother me too much. These birds are a great winter. If a few years ago they migrated en masse to Africa, now they stay with us for the whole winter. This is also due to climate change.

And, of course, pigeons. Our one-eyed couple. How did they manage to do that? It is now difficult for them to navigate in the wild and the cat can sneak up unnoticed. That's why they will stay in the enclosure.
